The Hempfield Foundation is thrilled to announce two additional scholarship opportunities for the graduating class of 2024.
Stock and Leader 2024 Future Teacher or Lawyer Award
Stock and Leader is a regional law firm focused on client outcomes, delivering legal expertise through a collaborative approach, and individual practice dedication across business, public, and personal law. This award helps fulfill a key part of their mission which is to support and enhance the community. One Stock and Leader Award of $500 will be awarded in 2024 by the Foundation. This is a one-time award that will be given to a student who indicates his or her intention to become a teacher or a lawyer following college.

The Lancaster Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) Scholarship
The Lancaster Asian Americans Pacific Islanders (AAPI) began with a group of Asian Americans searching for a larger community and an opportunity to amplify individual voices, allow people to connect, and to celebrate AAPI contributions to the rich history of Lancaster County. The organization includes dedicated community members who are working on advocacy, development, events, marketing, communications, and more. One Lancaster AAPI Scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded annually by the Foundation as funding is available. This is a one-time scholarship that will be awarded to a student who identifies with a member state of the Asia-Pacific regional group of member states defined by the United Nations (a list of the member states of the Asia-Pacific regional group is attached to the application)

Please note that, given the delay with FAFSA, our application deadline has been extended until March 22, 2024. Applicants may use their Estimated Student Aid Index if they do not have a final FAFSA number.
