LPC recently held their One Book One School (OBOS) kickoff assembly. Two REAL pigs visited the school and—after some persuasive chatting—former Hempfield Foundation board member and current LPC counselor Mike Resh even gave one a kiss!
LPC Reading Specialist Christina Hoover, who was awarded a Hempfield Foundation Grant to help fund OBOS, shared that the LPC students are so excited for this year’s book—Charlotte’s Web! With the grant, each student received their own copy of the book, so they can all read assigned chapters with their families throughout the month of March.
